Well, on May 29th 2014, I was able to get my hands on Mario Kart 8 for the Nintendo Wii U. and holy hell, this has to be one of my favorite games in the Mario Kart series. It's right up there with the likes of previous games in the series like Mario Kart 7, Mario Kart DS, Mario Kart Double Dash and Mario Kart 64.
Graphically and Visually, the game looks fantastic, and I really get an enjoyment from some of the new courses in the game such as Toad Harbour, Mount Wario, Electrodome, and Sunshine Harbour. Music wise, I really enjoy the music in the game. Some music tracks don't seem to be as memorable as other ones from Mario Kart games, but for the most part, I really enjoy the music, especially the pieces composed for the retro tracks.
I like the new Anti-Gravity feature. I'm sure a few of us knew that it's been done before with a certain racing game with a certain marsupial, but I feel as though the Anti-Gravity feature is better in this game as apposed to the one I just made a reference to.
If there a few things I could complain about (and I'm pretty sure you saw this coming BTW) are the Character Roster and the infamous coin item returning from Super Mario Kart.
The Roster's a bit of a let down with the characters they have to offer. I like the addition of the 7 Koopa Kids from SMB3 and NSMB Wii, but What's with the baby characters like Baby Rosalina. I know she's cute and all, but why they added her in, I have no clue, but where the hell did Pink Gold Peach come from? She's the most useless character in the roster with no backstory or origin whatsoever. Could have added in King Boo, Diddy Kong and Bowser Jr. Just saying. I_I Another complaint I have with the roster is that it's a little too easy to unlock all the characters, but at least I didn't have to pull my hair out trying to unlock characters by playing the Grand Prix cups at 150cc. To describe the procedure to unlock a character, you have to beat a cup once, depending on the engine class (EXAMPLE: Beat Mushroom Cup at 50cc and unlock a character at random) I'm glad that you don't have to play 150cc to unlock them, but I would have liked a bit of challenges to unlock characters, like getting a star rank on 4 cups or beating a specific amount of Staff Ghosts.
Next is the Coin item. If there's one thing it's good at, it's appearing when you're expecting an item for defense in 1st place. I'm expecting a Green shell to help block an incoming red shell, but no, Instead I get coins to get myself hit defenseless. They could have balanced the item for you to obtain it in 2nd place or lower as apposed to 1st Place, but If i can give credit for it, It at least saves you the bother of obtaining coins you lost thanks to an item that hit you.
Complains aside, I'm really getting an enjoyment out of Mario Kart 8, and It has to be one of my favorites in the series.
Oh, and next week is also E3, and I'm really looking forward to what's in store, and I pray to god that they confirm a release date for Super Smash Bros for Nintendo 3DS. I love what you and the team are doing Sakurai, but the suspense is killing me inside.

Trainz Greed. The Sodor Car Flatbed Story
Ok, so some of you might already know this, but over the past couple of days, I've had to deal with a certain user who "claims" to have revived Mikkatrain from the Trainz community just so he could redistribute the old Sodor Car Flatbed from NWR3D. You might already know this user as he goes under TheJulian101 and he's been taking the piss out of alot of people in the Trainz community for a number of reasons.
It all started when he redistributed the Sodor Car Flatbed on a youtube video of his.
I won't say much other then me and a few other users worked together to force him to take the link down and to not distribute private content again.
Quick Thoughts on Season 23
Ok, now that Season 23 of Thomas is now finished, it's time to give my quick thoughts.
Short into the point: it was better when it came to the international episodes but felt a bit weak when it came to the Sodor episodes.
Don't get me wrong, the Sodor episodes were great for the most part and were still the best part of the season, but they fell a but short compared to what we got last season.
What makes the international episodes this season better however was that the pacing seems to have gotten better and plus some episodes have a greater focus on other characters like Rajiv, Shane and Lorenzo. I'm not against Thomas having the lead role
Ok, so, where have I been?
If you're wondering why I haven't been posting much on DA, here's why:
Don't worry, it's not because I've been getting into personal beef with other users like you know who (Check one of my previous journals for that one if you missed out)
it's just that I don't exactly have much use for DA nowadays aside from following other users on the site.
Most of my Trainz work nowadays goes on Twitter, which you'll find here:

I've also been pretty active with the Trainz community nowadays since several users have been using buildings that I've modeled in their videos. The users I've been giving my models too def. know
Season 22 review
So now that Season 22's done and over with, let's review everything.
When this season was first revealed last year, fans felt pretty divisive over some of the changes they were making with the series (New Steam Team, Thomas the narrator and the fantasy sequences).
Me? I was going to approach this season with low expectations and I usually approach Thomas with both the younger and older fans in mind, and plus I knew that the writing team was going to stay the same and I knew they would do whatever they could to please the fans despite the changes from Mattel.
Also, they weren't kidding about the new theme song being really catchy. I think
